Austin Top 10 City for College Grads




According to MSN, Austin is ranked #3 among top U.S. cities for recent college graduates.

The survey, which looked at job creation, affordability, vibrant population and other factors, ranked the top 10 cities for recent college graduates.  

Here is how the cities ranked:

  1. Houston
  2. Boston
  3. Austin
  4. Seatlle
  5. Washington, D.C.
  6. Denver
  7. Portland
  8. Raleigh
  9. Omaha
  10. Minneapolis / St. Paul

Among the reasons MSN cites Austin is a 22.2% percent of population bewteen 20-29;  3.1% Job Growth; 4.9% unemployment; Average Rent of $968/mo; and an average salary of $32,000 for recent college graduates.
