Iron Wolf is a local craft distillery located in Spicewood Texas. We produce a diverse collection of award winning spirits across categories including Vodka, Gin, Rum and Bourbon whiskies. We are available in select bars and restaurants and liquor stores across Texas. Our Iron Wolf brand embodies the social characteristics of the Wolf and wolf pack that we appreciate along with their wild and bold spirit. We have a 15 acre hill country venue with great views, cocktails, food, live music and games. We are dog and kid friendly and encourage all to come see us at the ranch!

Our Story:

“The power of the Wolf is the Pack, the power of the Pack is the Wolf.”

The Iron Wolf pack is diverse but as the adage above proclaims, it brings us strength!

We founded our craft distillery in early 2014. The brand quickly evolved into “Iron Wolf” as the spirit and character of the wolf captured the unique nature of the team, our love of Texas and our intent, culminating in our tag line… “Bold Spirits, Texas Attitude”.

With a love of friends and family, social connections, pride of ownership and a keen interest in the making of unique spirits, we embarked on the journey. Our vision was to create a unique brand – with products that are bold, social and as diverse as the pack. We spent a good deal of time on the brand design as well as our unique custom bottles and labels. We wanted a look and feel to be proud of, a truly unique bottle that feels good in the hand and looks great on the shelf as well as marketing material that is contemporary and edgy. We are having great fun with it all!

We wanted not only to create great spirits and a powerful brand, but also a destination where we all can come together for great experiences and making memories… and that required a compelling location and top notch facilities. We also wanted to leverage the beauty and history of the Texas hill country that we love so much. We decided that the only way to fulfill our unique vision was to start from the “ground up”. We found the perfect property in our own rural home town of Spicewood Texas. For four years we have been designing, improving, developing and building the dream for an “Alpha class” craft distillery – all with our own hands. Our fabulous 15 acre property is dotted with huge oaks and elevated 360 degree views of the hill country. Now, with our first building the “Still House” complete (first of several planned) and the initial site infrastructure in place, we begin operations.

Iron Wolf Spirits… A Breed Apart!

At Iron Wolf Ranch & Distillery, we take great pride in our hand crafted products. We pay special attention to detail and design at Iron Wolf, both in our production process as well as our bottles and labels where we express this passion for detail. Iron Wolf is literally “engineered from the bottle up!”. Our striking custom bottle is a unique blend of traditional American whiskey on the upper half with a more modern angular lower half, all sitting on a thick base of glass complete with our embedded wolf paw feature… like our products, truly one of a kind!

We enjoy presenting you with a diverse collection of products and tastes, created from premium and natural ingredients and all with a touch of Texas. All of our spirits are available on site at Iron Wolf and several are now available in bars, restaurants and retailers across Texas.
