Austin, Texas tops the list of Best Places to Live according to U.S. News & World Report, taking the number one spot as the most affordable city to live in while providing an ideal lifestyle for people seeking to relocate to Austin.

The 2017 Best Places to live rankings included 100 of the United States largest metro areas and was based on affordability, job prospects and quality of life. The results reflect the conclusion of a public survey of thousands of people across the U.S. asking what they find the most critical when looking for a city to dwell in.
