  • South Congress, also referred to as SoCo, is just 2.8 miles away from Downtown Austin’s booming urban center but miles away in attitude. Driving south from the Texas State Capitol over the Congress Street Bridge, the city gives way to a neighborhood grounded in culture and a hip, vintage aesthetic.

    Known as the heart of South Austin, South Congress Avenue has retail shops, restaurants, antique stores, and an eclectic mix of local vintage shops and boutiques. Small streets branching off of S Congress Ave include single-family homes and condominiums in a range of styles and sizes. The median price for properties sold in the last twelve months was in the low-$600's with the price per square foot in the $300's. Homes spent an average of 44 days on the market.

Part of historic Old West Austin, and also referred to as Austin’s West End, Clarksville stretches north from West 5th Street to Enfield Road and west from N Lamar Boulevard to MoPac Expressway.

Many homes are beautifully renovated and sell from the low to mid  $700’s with a price per square foot of just over $400. They remain an average of 53 days on the market.
